Accelera Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Accelera app and the site at accelerahub.app, operated by SSPP Development Inc. ("Accelera", "we").

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Accelera you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Accelera lets athletes record training measurements, track progress, follow workouts, and share results with coaches they choose. It is provided as-is and we may change or discontinue features.

The service is in active development. Features may change, and data recorded during a testing period may be affected by changes we make.

3. Accounts, age, and guardians

(a) You must be 13 or older to hold an account. We ask for a date of birth at sign-up and will not create an account for anyone younger.

(b) A child under 13 may exist only as a profile inside a parent or guardian's account. That profile has no login of its own. By creating one you confirm you are the child's parent or legal guardian and consent to us holding their training records. You may withdraw that consent at any time, which deletes the profile and its data.

(c) If you are 13 to 17 you may hold your own account. A parent may link it to theirs for oversight. Linking does not give them your password.

(d) One account per person. Do not share credentials.

(e) Terms versions are recorded. When a guardian consents we record which version of these terms was in force, which is why this document carries a version identifier.

4. Acceptable use

Do not:

• record measurements for another person without their agreement, or a guardian's agreement where the athlete is a minor;
• impersonate anyone, or create a child profile for a child you are not responsible for;
• enter deliberately false measurements — the service exists to make training records trustworthy, and fabricated data undermines that for everyone;
• attempt to reach another user's data, or probe the service for weaknesses without telling us first;
• use the service to contact minors outside the coaching and recruiting features we provide;
• scrape, resell or redistribute other users' data.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where a breach involves the safety of a minor we act immediately and without notice.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you create — workouts you write, notes, measurements you record.

You grant us the licence needed to run the service: to store your content, show it back to you, and show it to people you chose to share it with. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies in backups that age out normally.

Publishing a workout is choosing to make it available to others on the service.

6. Training records belong to the athlete

This is enforced by the software, not only stated here.

• An athlete's record belongs to the athlete, including where a parent created it and where a coach recorded it.
• A parent managing a young child's profile is a custodian, not an owner. They may not sell, trade or withhold the record from the athlete. At maturity the custodianship ends.
• A coach keeps their own professional history of sessions they ran. They do not keep the athlete's record when the relationship ends.
• Deleting an athlete is genuine deletion, and nothing is deleted automatically — a person reviews and signs off first.

7. Measurements, provenance and confidence

Accelera records not only a measurement but how it was captured and who was present, producing a confidence indication shown alongside numbers.

This describes circumstances, not character. A low value means nobody independent could vouch for the number. It does not mean anyone lied.

A measurement a parent records for their own child counts as self-reported. The question the model asks is whether someone independent observed the result, and a parent is not independent. That is not a judgement about any parent.

We do not guarantee any measurement is accurate. A measurement is as good as the instrument and the person operating it.

8. Connections, coaches and recruiters

• A coach sees your data only after you approve a connection.
• You may disconnect at any time. That stops future access; it does not un-see what was already shared.
• Recruiter discovery is limited by age and by your visibility settings. First contact with a minor requires a guardian.

9. Not training, medical or health advice

Accelera is a record-keeping and progress-tracking tool. It is not a coach, a trainer, or a medical provider.

• Nothing here is medical advice. No feature diagnoses, treats or prevents any injury or condition.
• Workouts in the service are general information, not a prescription for any individual athlete.
• Consult a qualified professional before beginning any training programme, particularly for a young athlete.
• Training carries a risk of injury. You are responsible for training safely and for supervising any minor in your care.

Some features follow published guidance on youth training — for example training streaks are weekly rather than daily where rest days matter. These are conveniences, not safeguards, and are not a substitute for a coach's judgement.

10. Payment, cancellation and refunds

Athlete features are free. Paid plans apply to coaches and organisations.

Monthly coach plans

• Cancel at any time.
• No partial-month refund. Access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
• Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle, not immediately.

Annual organisation plans

• 30-day money-back guarantee on a first-time annual purchase.
• After 30 days, and on every renewal, non-refundable. The guarantee covers a first purchase only; a renewal is not a first purchase.
• Cancellation turns off auto-renewal. Access runs to the end of the paid term.

Failed payments

• A 5-day grace period from the first failed payment, with full access throughout.
• After 5 days we suspend write access only. You can still read what you built.
• Data is retained in full for 120 days after suspension, and nothing is purged automatically — a person reviews and signs off before any deletion.

Organisation and recruiting subscriptions renew on 1 July so the term sits inside a school fiscal year. An organisation signing up mid-year pays a prorated first term and then renews in full.

11. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and may take it down for maintenance.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we give notice in the app or by email before they take effect, and issue a new version identifier.

14. Ending your use

You may close your account at any time by emailing support@accelerahub.app. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
